Our Mission

Maintain Arrowhead Point Subdivision as a safe, friendly, clean and attractive neighborhood where property values are enhanced.

The meeting slides and minutes are posted (https://ahphoa.com/annual-meetings).

Reminder: the recently approved CC&R amendments include revised language for garbage bins and flags:

8.6 Garbage and Refuse Disposal. No Lot shall be used or maintained as a dumping ground for rubbish. All garbage/trash, yard waste and recyclables shall be placed in Spokane County approved containers and, subject to RCW 64.90.510(4), shall not be visible from adjoining homes or streets, except the day before, day of and after collection day. Exceptions may be requested to the Board, and must be approved in writing by the Board. Pursuant to RCW 64.90.510(4), nothing herein shall prevent an Owner from storing containers for municipal or private collection, such as compost, garbage, and recycling receptacles, in any private garage, side yard (screening from street view per RCW 64.90.510 is encouraged), or backyard reserved for the exclusive use of an Owner. Yard rakings, landscaping bark, dirt and debris resulting from landscaping work shall not be dumped onto adjoining lots or streets.

8.8  Signs.  No more than three professional signs of any kind (e.g. safety, security signs and pet signs) no larger than 12 inches x 18 inches may be displayed to the public view.

All political signs must be professionally made, no more than two and of a size equal or lesser than 18 inches by 24 inches maximum per sign may be displayed during the period prior to and for up to 7 days after the applicable election day. No flags or banners (except the US Flag as described in 4 U.S.C. Sec. 1 and the WA State flag) may be displayed to the public view (in accordance with RCW 64.90.510). Seasonal and special event flags (eg; holidays, game days, birthdays, graduations) may be displayed for the duration of the applicable period. Flags or banners containing obscenity, profanity, or overt political messages, or that depict content that would be offensive to a reasonable person, as determined by the Board, are prohibited. No signs of any kind are allowed in the common areas. These areas are owned by the HOA and managed by the Board, and and are not subject to the individual rights language in RCW 64.90.510. One sign of not more than five square feet advertising the property for sale, or signs used by a contractor during the construction/remodel/landscaping period are permitted.

Reminder: if you plan to do any major exterior work to your property (eg; change house or fence paint color, add a fence, shed, deck, replace roof shingles, major landscape renovation, etc), the CC&R's (articles 9.1-9.12) require all homeowners to submit detailed plans in writing to the Architectural Committee prior to signing contracts and commencing work to ensure the proposed changes conform to the intent and historical precedent of the CC&R's, are in harmony with the neighborhood and don't cause a nuisance.

Reminder: the primary place to park vehicles is in the garage, secondary is the driveway, and vehicles should not be parked on the street due to safety concerns (reduced visibility to clearly see children, pedestrians or pets). Also, a summary document of Spokane County’s restrictions for basketball hoops in the public right-of-way is posted on the website: https://ahphoa.com/ahp-hoa-documents
